Emily grew up in Sonoma County in Northern California.  After high school she attended the University of California San Diego where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.  Thereafter, she earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law. 

Michaelangelo and Emily met through mutual friends while working in the San Jose Silicon Valley.  They married in 2014 and began VARA Realty together in 2017.  They now have three beautiful children together (and a dog named Pancho).

​Emily enjoys working with both sellers and buyers and is especially passionate and patient working with individuals new to owning real estate.  She is particularly gifted in providing personalized service, educating and explaining the process to her clients, and facilitating seamless transactions from start to finish.  She is selflessly devoted to her clients and approaches her work with a servant’s heart.

In addition to practicing real estate, Emily enjoys time with her family, yoga, running, hiking, reading, art, and being involved in her community.  She regularly volunteers at her children’s school and she and Pancho are a PALS Social, Therapy & Reading Dog Team.  Emily has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Foster Youth and has contributed to human rights investigations and advocacy efforts before the United Nations.
